Health and Safety

• MAD PartyArt only use professional face paint products approved by the FDA or EU toy and cosmetic regulations which are hypoallergenic, antibacterial, waterbased and safe. Face paints are easily removed with a face cloth and water or baby wipe.
• Although the face paints we use are safe we cannot guarantee no allergic reaction. If anyone has sensitive skin please ask for a sensitivity patch test. Reactions, however, are extremely rare.
• MAD PartyArt hold Public Liability Insurance and all staff have Enhanced CRB checks.
• We do not paint anyone who does not want to be painted.
• Painting of children under the age of 3 is at the painter's discretion.
• We will not paint anyone who in the opinion of the face painter appears to have an open wound, cold sore, chicken pox, measles, mumps, runny nose, conjunctivitis, infections skin diseases or eczema. (In these cases it may be possible to paint a cheek, wrist or ankle.)
• A separate sponge is used for each person and brushes are regularly cleaned.
• We do not paint unaccompanied children* and we only take photos of children with parental permission. Photos will be used for publicity purposes only and copies can be emailed free if requested. (*unless permission slip is completed and party organiser is present - if you require permission slips these can be arranged at time of booking.)
• Children should be well supervised and not left unattended whilst they are waiting
